The major rivers of Ben Tre connect from the East Sea through the main estuary (Dai River Mounth, Ba Lai River Mounth, Ham Luong River Mounth, Chien River Mounth), upstream to the source Camodia along with criss-cross river an advantage of Ben tRe in the development of water transportation. From Ben Tre, boats can go to Ho Chi Minh City and two provinces of Vinh Long and Tra Vinh. On the contrary, vessals from Ho Chi Minh City to western cities must pass through Ben Tre province.
*** ROADS
From anywhere to Ben Tre, you an choose one of the three routes, depending on the starting direction of tourists:
- From Ho Chi Minh City along high speed highway of Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong or along National Road 1A to Trung Luong junction, turn to National Road 60 through Rach Mieu bridge, is 13km to go to Ben Tre city center.
- From Vinh Long city, tourists go past Dinh Khao Ferry along National Road 57, turn left to Provincial Road 882 to National Road 60, pass Ham Luong bridge to Ben Tre city.
- From Tra Vinh province tourists go past Co Chien bridge following National Road 60 and through Ham Luong bridge to Ben Tre city.
