Architect Huynh Tan Phat (1913-1989) is great-grandchild of Huynh Van Thieu and born at Chau Hung, Binh Dai, Ben Tre Province. He was high ranking official of Vietnam Communist Party. In the past, he held office as Former Chairman of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam, former Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers, former Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Socialist Vietnam, Chairman of the Presidium of the Commission Central Vietnam Fatherland Front. He was awarded the State Party and the Medal of Ho Chi Minh, the Medal of the Resistance class. Therefore, when he died, the villagers was built memorial near Tan Hung Communal house to educate the young generation. The photos, documents, artifacts which related to his revolutionary activities were solemnly exhibited here.
