Coconut hints and ecotourism

Ben Tre will try not to build her ecotourism as familiar or the same as the eco-tourist model in other areas in Mekong Delta like touring on river boats, visiting fruit gardens, listening to traditional music. Ben Tre Tourism has been investing in what she has been favoured from the ecological advantages of coconut plantations. 

Ecotourism is a form of package tours with less capital investment at the capital, but high social benefits, and can attract the local community to participate, share interests. It is completely consistent with climate change and environmental protection. 

Coco-Ecotourism may bring people closer to the nature. Living and relaxing in comfort of home facilitated by materials from coco-trees is suitable for unfavorable changes of the current weather, and help save energy and protect the environment. In the trend of global climate change, natural disasters occur consecutively, saltwater intrusion shrinking the acreage of other kinds of trees, while coconut tree is well adapted to those adverse conditions. Therefore, coco-ecotourism may take less risk.

The current trends show people pay much attention to aspects of ecological environment protection, using organic products capable of rapid destruction or capable of recycling quite trendy. So the use of coco-products will make visitors feel strange, fascinating and more aware of their contribution to environmental protection. 

Eco-tourism in the region of coco-islands, new islands, with suitable terrain is the superior strength to create the differences in Ben 

Tre coco-ecotourism. It would create sound competition and stimulate the development of tourism in the province. By putting theory into reality, we take use of the value of history, of local food culture and medicine values related to coconut trees to create the characteristics of Ben Tre coco-ecotourism which other provinces do not have alike such as "coco-eating and coco-drinking in meditation," (the legend of coconut religion); "Coco-Sauna" (the legend of Ben Tre girls bathing coco-milk); "drinking coco-milk on spot" (the introduction of the diversity of high coco-trees genetically modified with the dwarf for early fruits); "monkey climbing coconut " and "coco-fashion show" (awareness of diverse uses of coconut) 

The combination of the planning and exploitation 'Coco-town' is a form of walking street with coco-souvenirs and coconut cosmetic products serving tourists healthcare. Coconut Cuisine by night and the town of agricultural specialties -traditional handicraft specialties from coconut, which will surely create a new image of Ben Tre coco-tourism in the future.
